Learning from the Least
Serving others by humbling ourselves to listen and learn
Andrew & Karen have served internationally for almost 35 years. They seek to make the love of Jesus known through servanthood in the way of the cross. Such servanthood includes taking time to learn from those whose voices are rarely heard.
“In your life together, think the way Christ Jesus thought . . . He accepted the role of a servant . . . he humbled himself by being fully obedient to God, even when that caused his death—death on a cross.” Philippians 2. 5, 7-8
Our work in the Middle East
Twenty years of ministry to university students and in youth camps in rural villages have led us into a deep love for the Palestinian people. We are in the midst of shaping a new chapter in our ministry. Andrew is now the pastor of East Jerusalem International Church, and working for peace for all peoples in the Palestine and Israel.
Our work in the Philippines
Since 1987, we have actively ministered to the people of the Philippines. Our original church plant, Harvester’s Christian Fellowship, burgeoned into a multi-church community which provides leadership training, feeding programs and education for the most destitute.
Equipping leaders for service
Mobilizing the Christian community for cross-cultural service is a priority for us. Are you training to serve overseas or reach across cultural boundaries in your neighborhood? Are you planning a missions trip and need to prepare a team? Are you working to broaden your church’s global perspective and cross-cultural skills?
Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.”
— John 20.21
